The exhibition : « Beaulieu set itself in the 21st century »

On October 23 and 24, The Beaulieu Foundation presented its exhibition « Beaulieu set itself in the 21st century » to its neighbors and partners. Two amazing evenings, with the presence of Mr. Muheim, President of the Foundation and Mr. Leuba, member of the Canton de Vaud government. The invitees discovered the work undertaken in the congress area on level 2 and especially the subcommittee rooms and a beautiful lounge area.



Beaulieu 2020 visual protection for residents and prevention for the site

The arrival of the blooming season allows us to begin the renovation and transformation of the façades at the back of the Palais, which are now covered from top to bottom with a protective net in Beaulieu 2020 colors. Next days, the construction companies will start the demolition of the roof and the construction of skylights to bring light !


Beaulieu sports its finest colors

They’re here! The first signs of Beaulieu’s new visual identity are blossoming into life: new billboards, new logos and new, dynamic signage. Our visitors will be sure to spot them when they next stop by.


An iconic visual identity for Beaulieu

The Beaulieu Foundation is proud to introduce its all-new visual identity. Intended to promote the site in its entirety, the design signifies a revival for Beaulieu. A combination of the Foundation’s new missions and the arrival of its new partners has underlined the importance of presenting a coherent corporate identity and a uniform set of visuals to represent the site as a whole.

The new image is centered around an emblematic logo: elegant and modern, it evokes the front columns of the Palais de Beaulieu. Its different colored versions allow each entity to be separately identifiable, whilst remaining united through their common imagery. The Foundation is also launching a new website.

Work underway at Beaulieu

Summer has finally arrived, and with it comes the start of the practical phase for the Beaulieu 2020 project. From July 4, work will begin on the Beaulieu site, specifically on its interior and around the outside of the main building (the palace). To a lesser degree, work will also begin on the North Halls, the Jura-facing esplanade (H21) and the parking area. The calendar of renovations provides details on operations and disturbances.


Congresses and events will still be organized at Beaulieu

The potential for hosting congresses and other medium and large-scale events at Beaulieu is unique. Furthermore, by holding these events it fulfills a need of those involved in the regional economy. This is why the Beaulieu Foundation has now taken charge again of managing the Convention Center, which to date have been handled by MCH Beaulieu Lausanne SA, and is hiring the necessary resources to develop and continue this activity.

The renewal of the Beaulieu 2020 Project rekindles Beaulieu's flame

The 2016-2020 period will mark a great date in Beaulieu’s history. Today, the relaunch of the Beaulieu 2020 project announces the renewal and transformation of the site by the end of the decade.

During the same period, the Beaulieu Foundation will reincorporate the management of the Convention Center, until now handled by MCH Beaulieu Lausanne SA, and will commit the resources necessary for developing and sustaining this action.

The Curtains goes up for the Théâtre de Beaulieu

From 1 January 2016, and thanks to the support of the City of Lausanne, an agreement between the Beaulieu Foundation and Opus One SA will give new impetus to the Théâtre de Beaulieu. Thorough renovations, new visual identity and renewed programming : all is set to answer the needs of theater-goers and provide a new start to Switzerland's largest theater.

A subsidy for the Théâtre de Beaulieu

On June 15, the town council of Lausanne agreed to subsidized, up to 28 millions of CHF, the reclamation works required by the Théâtre de Beaulieu.10 millions will be dedicated to fire security, and the remnant to various reconditioning in order to lower operating costs.

A new entity to operate the Théâtre de Beaulieu

On February 20, 2015, the Beaulieu Foundation and Opus One SA signed a declaration of intent, thus formalizing their decision to operate jointly the Théâtre de Beaulieu from January 2016. This collaboration will allow a development of the theater’s activities in the fields of culture and congresses. Such a new organisation registers with the cultural framework of the City of Lausanne, that aims at buiding a future for its historical halls.
